3 Weeks to play and 3 Teams Tied for #1 Seed…

With 4 teams coming in at 3-1, and with 2 of those teams matching up, the season is only getting tighter.

The Business vs High Klass – Terrell B knocked down 5 three’s on way to his 22 points to lead The Business in their game on Wednesday Night. Leon had 19 points and 13 rebounds, followed by Michael with 11 points, and Eric with 10 points and 9 boards. The Business won going away by 18 points, 80-62, over High Klass. Ashton C had 18 points and 11 boards, while Clinton had 14 points, Jordan had 11 points, and Mario P had 10 points in the game.

Showtime vs Legacy – In the game of the night, Showtime was able to out shoot, and outlast Legacy. With Legacy taking as much as a 9 point lead in the 1st half, it was Showtime outscoring Legacy 51-39 in the 2nd half that won the game. Derek led the way with 28 points and 12 boards, along with hitting some huge shots as the shot clock expired, as he set the tone for Showtime. Orion had 20 points, followed by 16 each from Kenny and Steve. Legacy had all 5 players score in double figures (Bobby 26, Lance 23, Dre & Rick 18, and James 15), but they didn’t have the points they needed down the stretch. Showtime went on to win 105-100 over Legacy.

Riverside Run-N-Gun vs Clippers – With the Clippers needing a win to try and get in the playoff’s, and with RNG hoping to increase their chances, these teams both were focused. But it was he Clippers that turned their focus into points, as they overcame a 10 point deficit to start the game. TJ Smith had a super debut, as he scored 26 points on only 17 shots, as he shot 59% from the field, along with some highlight reels in the process. Johnnie continued his strong play with 21 points, followed by 14 points from Todd, and 10 points from Kareem. Dedrick led RNG with 23 points, while George had 16 points in the game.

Rockstars vs Riverside Heat – With the Heat looking to continue their dominance, they would do so short handed on Wednesday Night. With Rockstars finally playing with their whoe team, they started off solid versus The Heat, but it didn’t last. Riverside Heat continue to prove themselves as the ultimate TEAM, as they share the ball and find a way to win. Gary was that way on Wednesday, as he scored 24 points (6 three’s), followed by Houston with 21 points in the game. Tree had 10 points and 9 boards as they pulled away and won the game 67-49 over the Rockstars. Sean R scored 17 points and grabbed 11 boards for Rockstars followed by Chance with 13 points in the loss.
